Southern Cross Telecommunications

Southern Cross Telecommunications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Cross Broadcasting, has constructed a microwave network from Toowoomba via Brisbane to Cairns at a cost of approximately $25 million. The network will satisfy the group’s digital television broadcasting and broader communication needs and will have extensive additional broadband capacity available for sale to third parties.
